New degree programs coming to CBC, WSU Tri- Cities. Higher education in the Tri- Cities is getting a boost as Columbia Basin College and Washington State University Tri- Cities prepare to add several new degree offerings and consolidate programs. CBC. With upper division and graduate programs, WSU Tri-Cities offers 20 baccalaureate, 17 master’s, and 14 doctoral degree programs. The campus added freshman and sophomore courses in fall 2007 to become a true four-year public university, extending the WSU. Academic Advising Academic advising is key to a student’s success. At WSU Tri-Cities, academic advising is mandatory so that students make timely progress toward their degree and build a relationship with their advisor that will last throughout their time on. The school has programs on the main WSU campus in Pullman, the WSU branch campus in the Tri-Cities, in Bremerton at Olympic College and in Everett at the University Center of North Puget. Last spring, WSU Tri-Cities announced a new degree program after the university’s faculty senate approved expanding the Hospitality Business Management Degree to the Richland campus. The program has already attracted nearly 20 undergraduate students.
